Balcultry Stables

Balcultry Stables is a BHS and AIRE Approved yard in Dublin. Stage 4 Senior Coach in Complete Horsemanship on site who is experienced in teaching riders of all levels, from beginners to experienced, looking to achieve BHS Qualifications.


Bergin Equine

Bergin Equine is owner-run by Brendan Callan-Bergin BAgrSc-Eq (Hons), BHS Stage 5 Performance Coach in Complete Horsemanship, Equestrian Tourism Centre Manager (Regd.) and Michelle Callan-Bergin. The yard's philosophy, 'ethical, effective training achieving lightness through harmony' forms the foundation of all our services. We are riding school and provide BHS assessments training (up to BHS Stage 5 and Equestrian Tourism Centre Manager), livery and horse training/schooling. Brennanstown Riding School

Brennanstown Riding School is a family run business established for more than four decades. As well as being a riding school, livery yard, career training centre and facility centre for the BHS assessments, it is also an eventing yard and produces young horses.

Facilities include an indoor riding school, three large outdoor arenas and a cross-country course. Brennanstown offers group or private lessons for both adults and children, catering for all standards from novice to advanced. 

 

Calliaghstown Equestrian Centre

Get in shape in the saddle, avail of our indoor, outdoor and cross-country facilities. Enjoy time out in a friendly atmosphere.

The centre caters for beginners to experienced riders with horses and ponies for all levels. Their instructors are trained to help you achieve your goals in a fun and safe environment.

 

Castle Leslie Equestrian Centre

As one of Europe’s finest equestrian playgrounds, Castle Leslie Estate offers memorable horse riding holiday experiences for riding enthusiasts of all levels.

Nestled in 1,000 acres of undulating Irish countryside, dotted with ancient woodlands and glittering lakes, the Estate offers an idyllic setting for outdoor activity and adventure. The centre welcomes riders of all abilities and age groups (above the age of seven), and offers expert tuition, gentle hacks and exhilarating cross-country rides.

 

Claremorris Equestrian Centre

At the centre, you will find a saddlery shop and feed store, riding school, training centre, an event centre, wedding carriages and breeding stallions. The centre also runs horse and pony sales every month. 

 

Clonshire Equestrian Centre

The centre offers up to Stage 3 assessment preparation, covering all main aspects of the assessments including riding. The centre also offers training for Teach assessments up to Stage 3 including, teaching practice, lecture preparation and lesson presentation. One-to-one individual sessions are available by appointment. Accommodation is also available.

Grennan College

Grennan College Equestrian Centre has facilitated and mentored equine students in their pursuit of professional qualifications and business career goals for the past 40 years.

Full-time courses run from September to June each year and lead to The British Horse Society assessments and QQI Level 5 and Level 6 Awards in Horsemanship.

 

Hitchmough’s Riding School

 

Kildalton College

Kildalton College runs the QQI Certificate in Horsemanship Level 5 and 6 in Equitation and Stud Management. These are practical courses designed to produce professional people to work in both the sport horse and thoroughbred industries. Both courses are full-time for two years.

 

Slieve Aughty Riding Centre

Set in the peaceful hills of the West of Ireland, this centre is a welcoming retreat, where horses and humans live in harmony with the natural world. Family owned since 1986, the centre specialises in families of all riding abilities and offers lessons, trekking, riding holidays, organic food and more.

 

Thornton Park Equestrian Centre

Thornton Park specialises in offering top class tuition for all riding levels and specialised BHS training, five-star livery service and various training programmes. The centre hosts regular shows, clinics and children’s pony camps. Facilities include a 75x25 indoor arena, two 50x25 floodlit outdoor arenas, lunge ring, horse-walker, solarium, lecture room, café and coffee bar.
